adjusting barrel screw Diana LP8 Magnum

Anyone ever disassembled an LP8 Magnum? The front stock screw of the Diana LP8 goes all the way through so it seems. From left to right. I think its also the adjuster for barrelplay. Its not maximum tightened from factory. Anyone knows how to adjust these correctly? (how tight). Ive enclosed the exploded view so you can see what I mean

I have never seen a actual procedure to tension the barrel. As long as you have no side play in the barrel you should be good.
Opinions will very as to how much to tighten the bolt.

I have never had this issue.  However to remove the barrel, I would remove the right side nut first, then the bolt through the bushing.  Install reverse.
So I would remove the nut, tighten(if that is what you want)the bolt, reattach nut and tighten until desired lock-up, with no side to side play.  After cocking, some people like the barrel to just fall or just not fall under it's own weight.  With the LP-8's short barrel this is a little different. Just makes usre that you get a good seal at your breach seal.

FWIW-My Diana 340 N-tec came with the barrel so tight that it barely moved even after cocking.
