WOW !! your list of airguns is almost as impressive as your list of service.Thank for both.
US Army 1965-72I spent two tours in Viet Nam flying helicoptersThe first was with the 3rd Squadron of the Fifth Calvary.Among other missions we supported the 9th Infantry Long Range Recon Patrol. (Black Beret S.F.) LRRP pick-up somewhere just inside the Viet Nam border. Some days were better than othersLike most young helicopter pilots, I saw myself an invincible. One of the LRRP team leaders went so far as to seek me out in 2006 to thank me for saving his team on one of the more exciting missions. He wrote me a poem about the mission.Craig (Raker 24… AKA "Bird Legs") died of lung cancer in 2009... Agent Orange finally got him.One day, I may tell that story. My second tour Was flying Huey Cobras for the 334th Aerial Weapons CompanyMy Wingman Playboy 4Some days were better than others here too.But I still had the invincible mindset. My ground crew gave me a Zippo lighter that reflected my attitude. So, I survived two years of extreme violence. It made me what I am today…. 100% disabledSteve
