BR I use whatever old stuff I have in cans and tie them to the back of the trap with bailing wire so they can't walk off with the whole thing without stepping on the trigger plate as happened once by a crafty fox. Currently I have a 20yr+ old crab meat can in the trap and the door was down this AM with nothing in the trap so probably a cat scent marking against the door with it's mouth that caused it to drop since I saw a cat on trail cam which notified me as wild boar thanks to garbage spypoint camera AI critter recognition so I can't recommend spypoint at all now as I've sent them 4 complaints and they've yet to improve their AI. Reset the trap for tonight so hopefully will catch the other possum with the spoiled crab meat. Got a unintended picture of me on trail cam blowing the guts out of the other possum with the 12ga using bird shot so no ricochet into my safety glasses or damaged trap.
While getting the charcoal light, I decided it was a good time to grab the garage Daisy 880 : I have a gagle of them " anywho, pumped it up 10 times, loaded a Fenix 9.5 gr pellet. Hmm I bet the starlings are in the cedars on the east side of the house, I head that way slowly checking the trees as I make my approach, I catch movement out of the corner of my left eye, I left it on look out there was a garden raiding rabbit I slowly move and take aim, crosshares' on the money shot. I had not even had much time to think just my killer instinct, pulled the trigger smooth and easy, snap pop thwack flop with a 1/2 bunny flop 17 paces, who's next LOL As landed Entry + POI + E< M R. +Dead Rabbet
