While mowing the lawn today I noticed a couple of my Arborvitae were all chewed up Another rascally rabbit is about, I sat with the NemesisX while I smoked a rack of ribs this afternoon with no results. After getting a belly full of ribs and fixings I looked out the living room window, low and behold there the bugger was. I grab the NemiX off the chest freezer, sneak past the ct , get to where I can get a safe shot and it runs off LOL I see where it was headed, so go around the house to greet it at it new destination. A 7 yard shot to the noggin got him thinking right

James, I got out to the dairy after my PT session yesterday . I put a couple guns in the Toyota, along w/ a shooting mat. I carried a .22mag at first w/ a bipod and my shooting trigger sticks. Went prone at 75 yrds ,collected on 3 of 4 g-hogs AND I was able to get back on my feet after a few "elder moves" w/ rolled mat & the sticks ! I saw more groups of g-hogs out of range . I moved to another farm & pulled out the Kral NP-03 , .22 shooting Hades @ 700ish . Upon arriving at this barn I saw a half dozen young hogs at the feed pile hole & a loner at the barn corner in the grass. Orange hat on quickly ( required hunting g-hogs in PA ) & exiting the Toyota to assume a tripod standing position , I let the first pill fly at the one closest in the grass and connected w/ a head shot . The others moved toward the hole but stopped to look around , which gave me a chance to start at the farthest & work back ( Sergeant York style ). I took two more before they holed up . I moved to an adjacent block building , propping the door ajar enough to poke the barrel out and waited. In less than 5 minutes two more came out , I waited till they were lined up & took both w/ a double head/neck shot !! The farm hand pulled up to feed so I switched to the Katran & drove around to the back side where the pigeons hang out in & on the old silo. With a warm tune for 23-25 gr. slugs , the Katran makes for reliable shots on birds at the 53yrd sniping spot . I downed 4 birds , recovering two for the farm cats , then went back to work on the remaining g-hogs at the feed pile hole. I popped two more w/ the Katran ,then repositioned at a corner wall w/ the Kral to wait out the remaining one(s). I ended the day w/ a chipmunk , two starlings , a hosp , 4 pigeons & 10 g-hogs . As the farmer was harvesting haylage , I was getting texts about the hogs seen in the fields he was chopping , so I've got work to do ! Sorry I can't post pictures .
I got another chipper for the barbie Opsi I put it on the bumper not the grill Product of the P-Rod
Got done with work mid rush hour, so cruised the farm in the golf truck, and the Prod. Rode up on these 2, a 3rd did make a getaway, and another spotted behind the Apple Pie Bakery, more to come
Ground squirrels are everywhere here in socal must be from all the rain🤷♂️
I was on the prowl today, but all I could do was get this chipmunk to stop for a photo with my FX DRS shooting .22 home cast NOE BBT slugs. He was 20 yards out when the photo op happened.
