Dead Pest of the Day

 Decided to start a kill thread, for the many pest that needed help to the other side, from an air gunner.
Yesterday I went on a little rampage with my XS 60c managed to drop to chippers and a starling. Co worker managed a starling and another chipper, with his Diana Chaser .22, so it was a successful 1/2 hour pesting patrol for the day

 Nick got a little chipper, with his .22 Chaser, over lunch time today, I did not take any shots today.

Great thread! I went on a brief patrol after work with my stubby 2240 and came home with three pine squirrels. A fourth managed to get away with a mortal wound. If I were hunting I would be using my 177 bottle Bandito carbine which usually does not permit runaways, but this was a pesting patrol and it's just nice to have a pistol that fits in my pocket.

Nice shooting on the Chippers and starlings.
I got a first blood kill with my Notos, pesky Squirrels all over my roof and trees, had to let them know to stay off the roof, so I popped the main instigator, gave it a Lobotomy with a JSB Hades pellet, 
they might think twice about jumping on the roof....

 Gotta keep after them  I got a set of cheap glow in the dark pistol sights to put on the 2240 XL stubby, with any luck I can get them to fit

I ordered some phosphorescent paint for the OEM notch on my 2240 and my C600. Hopefully I'll see how well it works this weekend. I think I could be a much better shot with dots on the rear sight of my stubby. The HighViz front blade has turned me into a pretty decent hand with the pistol, but dots on the rear (I should really just get a Crosman steel breech and LPA MIM sight) should make me into a real pistol marksman.

 I missed my opportunity this am,  as I walked from my truck to the shop I was met by a couple chippers, but I was not packing, tomorrow I will be on the ready, and they most likely will take the day off lol.

I went with a Melon FIber front and a Williams dovetail mount ghost ring rear.
Trying to be patient awaiting my Stubby Barrel and Flow through Bolt from Mr. Melon.  Good thing I have three other projects...lol

Yep, I built the stubby so I can always stay strapped around the fahm. I have run into too many hares without having my gat ready!

 Well todays gun was the Fusion 2 on HPA pushing NSA 12.5 gr slugs, shot was 5 yards, POA was top of the bottom. POI  Off Hand !

 Nick an I are planning for long range chipmunk shots, for when they get smarter here. I will be like mini sniping Ground Squirrels LOL  Ghillie Suits were mentioned.
 Wouldn't you know it s soon as I packed the guns in the truck a chipmunk popped out LOL

I got three more today, all juveniles. I shot one through the chest and the slug came to rest by the right femur. The 177 JSB 10.03 KO expanded out to an impressive. 297"
