I knock the magnets out of old speakers before I scrap them. They do come in handy.

Out last evening with my Gamo Hunter IGT.
Got my first rabbit in a few weeks. It was dusk and I could only see a smudge in the grass. Looking through a standard Gamo 4 x 32 scope I could see it clearly at about 40 yards. Bang and it was dead.
Saw a few that were too quick for me . A rabbits movement identification is amazing.

Today I took a survey tour of the squirrel woods, saw 4, not sure if the camera caught them all, or maybe saw something I didn't

A Bunny hunt through the surrounding area is in in order yet this season, need to call my bud with Beagles and have some fun, and good eats

I'd be in those woods all day everyday. First thing I would do is build a log shootin' shack. Maybe even a tree house shootin' shack.

I did not mention that woods is layered in giant poison ivy. So far it does not bother me, so I get to control it

Do future dead pest count?

There are actually four of the buggers! I have baffles on my feeders and bird houses. I try to put only enough seed for the day. But we have been gone for over a week! They tore one of my blue bird houses down despite a baffle on it. Everything has it's place but their place may not be my backyard, porch, garage, shop

.

The neighbor skins them out and makes pelts with them. I really, really need a night vision scope.

Hi James.

I watched your Video.

Your hunting area looks like a good one to me.

The woods in my area are loosing the snow too.

It made it up to 50 F around here today.

It has been a mild winter this year, the warmest that I have seen so far.

I managed to pick off the last of the red squirrels that were wintering in my wood pile out back.

Last fall about 6 or 7 took up residence in the wood pile by chewing through the tarp that I have on it.

If I had not have gotten them early then the siding on my house would have been the next thing they would have chewed through.

They would have done that, later on this spring, when they started setting up there summer territories.

It won't be long now until the chipmunks will be out and about and the pesting all starts over again.

I took a ride through the woods yesterday, saw 6 squirrel and 4 chippers, bummer I was short on time and unarmed . The next nice day Notos goes on chipper duty

Squirrel season has come to an end, never got to hunt rabbits, might have a pest one in the yard yet though

Woodchucks should be out and about soon too

Very windy. I’m still going to try. The shots were only around 25-35 yards but that wind was blowing off the shots by 2 inches
