I mounted the barrel in a vise in a drill press and bored it out with a 1/4" drill bit, to a depth of approx 1/4" depth may vary, to exact fit to breach, I Put the barrel in the breach to center punch a mark, then drilled the tp hole I go small first incase it gets off center if if so ther eis wiggle room when going the next size up to make adjustment. I used aggressive rubber grinding bits on the Dremel to make a new lead and smooth out tool marks. I followed with finer grits and then also did a pull through polish with fine compound to finish.Thank you for the follow up - is the 1/4" bore to allow the bolt to feed? I followed the rest. Nice work.

I found my stash of fancy Magnum Air breach screws and added one to the build, still searching for the perfect sights for this, I do have a few options that will work but not what I want. Shot some slugs over the crony, a solid 350+ FPS May look into a flow through bolt 21 gr. H& N .218 gr. lugs also are perhaps a smidge undersized but shoot well. I Compared crony to crosman domed and got 400+ FPS with those.
Yes I like it alot, looking for something like it for the xl stubby, I'm close and may figure something out soon. Some Crony numbers XL Stubby with 21 gr. H&N slugs 338 fps it a dup a couple times so may be more consistant now Next up was TS and my home cast 18.5 gr. slugs, not sure if adjuster has more left but ran it up to 378 fps on those and they are little laser can hole punchers, look out chipmunks
I would not hesitate on a close up shot on a cotton tail either
Rabbits have much larger kill zones.

With pistols I start out point blank, and shoot my way back
So isn't a 2240 stubby just a 150?
