What gun do you keep no matter what?

I’m sure y’all have realized I don’t keep guns very long for whatever reason I either sell, return or give away. My Prod and Mrod have always been a staple in my collection especially the prod which was my first pcp three years ago and I still have it and shoot it sometimes. The Mrod came a year ago and I really like it as well and haven’t wanted to part with it. So my always keep guns are my prod and Mrod what’s yours ?

Mine would have to be a '68 blue streak (Eddie) because it has sentimental value. It just happens to be one of 5 or 6 that will never leave.

Definitely my Brocock Contour.  It's light, very accurate, and being my 1st pcp, I've hunted with it so many tines It's like an extension of my arm.  It also made me rethink higher powered guns.  At 15fpe it's taken hundreds of squirrels, several past 50 yards. 


2nd would be my HW100BP-K.  It's my quietest gun with superb accuracy, and it's left handed.

My PCP keeper would have to be my .20 cal Don Cothran disco carbine. Not a power house but lite and accurate with a variety of pellets.

In a PCP, my Daystate CR97. It may be a bit dated in the design, but it shoots like a dream and I'll never find another one. Not hard to look at, either.

 Since Im a backyard shooter…I really dont have a favorite…maybe some that are easier to shoot….but if I had to get rid  of everything yesterday….I would keep my 1994 (bought new) shiny 397….for sentimental reasons….after many years laying up in a closet …its rediscovery started me down the rabbit hole…..good luck

My Blue Boy. It's a .177 Industry Brand B3-1. One of the first guns I bought when I started this addiction and first one I rebuilt. The stock had unremarkable wood grain so I used blue varnish on it and a coat of poly. It's one that used a clamp on rear sight that was missing.

I had a gunsmith bud put a Weaver rail on it and cut a notch in the center of the rail to mount the rear peep sight from a Mini 14 another bud gave me. It's got one inch tall see-thru rings and a Hawke Sport HD 2-7X32 AO mildot lum scope on top of the rings. I can use the scope or peep. Put a AK/SKS web sling on it with the leather tabs on the ends. It has a rubber recoil pad for an old French Army 7.5mm MAS 48/56 10 shot semi.

I've replaced the spring and seal two or three time. Still has a leather piston seal. I replaced the plastic spring guide with a metal one from a ancient B3 I found for parts. It'll shoot half inch groups at 25 yards with 8.3 grs RWS Meisterkugeln at about 550fps. That's my keeper. Fun stuff.

Kinda the same way. My 1954 Marlin 39A bought at the moment of my birth for me by my grandfather. And my Marlin 1895 SBL in .45-70, the only Government that can be trusted.

But for air guns, my Marauder Super Light. I have to much blood and treasure in it and it shoots really good and holds zero while on walkabout. And blows large holes in bad, nasty things.

80 consecutive low to non spread shots with no reg, delivering 12fpe in .177 cal. Which is plenty enough of power for me.

Love the CZ barrel, soo accurate and now I want to have a Taipan too LOL

Unfortunately the CZ200's are not being made anymore.
