Mrod pricing question
«
on:

I am looking at taking the plunge and getting an Mrod. While price shoping at different places the prices range from $399 to $500+. Is there a difference in a rifle from AOA at $399 vs. one from somewhere else at $499?

Try PA......I think they have them at $359.00 free shipping.
I got my M-Rod .25 on special (airgunsdaily) for $325.00

I am going to be in Phoenix the second week in January so I was just going to pick one up from AOA. Just wondering why the $100 difference in price if they are the same rifles.

if you could pick it up in person, maybe shoot it first.
that would be nice. no shipping
sound s good to me. it would be cool if i lived closer to PA or AOA. i'd really be broke from layaway.

the list price on the 25 cals are slightly higher than .177 or .22
refurbs are slightly cheaper and I think AOA is using the Marauder to get people started on PCPs so they upgrade later to higher quality products they carry ....so the Marauder is a price leader low profit entry to the sport

Thanks for the info guys. I will be calling AOA right before Christmas to make sure they have one so I don't show up to them being out of stock.

I just did some checking also and AOA is alot cheaper than PA. I also talked to a vendor at our local gun show today and he orders thru PA and AOA can beat his price by 50.00. So, if I have to pay for shipping I'm still getting a better deal thru AOA. Go figure.

just remember the cheapest price is not always the best deal.....BUT in this case you have the IRONCLAD Crosman Customer Service backing you up if a problem arises.
If it was another brand I would think twice about basing selection of dealer JUST on pricing
