Targ-aire Serial number survey

Hey Guys
Trying to determine changes over time on the Targ-Aire pistol
So far 3 different types based on markings and hardware.
Pistol type 1 (early Targ Aire), Pistol Type 2 (late Targ Aire) , and Pistol Type 3 ( Ranco) .
Serial Range 1007 to 1245 (type 1) and 13823 to 15278 (type 2 and 3)
Looking to just get a few more serial numbered examples to verify some things.
So If you have a Targ-Aire pistol, please submit the following bits of information:
1. Serial number (picture if possible)
2. Markings on pistol (Chamber tube - grip - large end plug)
3. caliber
4. Trigger type (narrow or wide)
5. Grip color and type aluminum or plastic
Pictures would be best to verify serials and features.
Thanks !!
Dave

Hi: My Targ Aire pistol is serial number 0014432 and is on the left side of the compression tube. The right side of said tube is marked "Targ-Aire Pistol Co. Chicago, ILL. The only other markings are on the metal grip, which is sort of a red brown color. I do not know whether the trigger is narrow or wide as I have never seen another gun. It is about 1/8" wide.
From the dearth of responses to your post, I imagine this is a quite rare gun

Thanks for your response!!
I was starting to suspect there were no owners of targ-Aires on this forum.
You have a type two Targ-Aire.
What is the caliber of your pistol, and is there a screw on the underside of the barrel?
By the way, you have a really nice example.

The gun is a .22 and there is a screw on the bottom of the barrel. it is just forward of the trigger guard. What is its purpose. The cocking lever is in its rest position in the photo. Is there a detent to keep it close to the grip?

There should be a small spring-loaded detent pin that holds the lever closed. It could be missing, rusted so it can't move, or damaged.
