My main distance I shoot hunting to 35 yards. Sighted in a 20 yards does changingparalax change POI

Since your point of aim may vary a little bit your point of impact can, too. After you sight in your scope at twenty yards set a target at the longer distance. You need not shoot it, just move your head around a bit in relation to the scope while trying to keep the rifle on target. If changing your head position moves the target relative to the crosshairs you can expect inconsistent shot placement.

Have you adjusted the ocular lens ring so that the reticle is clear for your eye?
