Sights/Optics IMHO Poll

I am waiting on parts so I figured I'd stir the pot with a poll.  I'm leaning towards 6 with my eyesight but considering saving up for option 10.  Cheers

I can not see the standard sights unless they have fiber optics front & rear.  I have astigmatism, so red dots are blurred.  So, fiber optics or scope for me.

I made it up and I'm thinking PB PDW red dot
PB AR15 LPVO duplex reticle
Springer LPVO duplex reticle
PCP Rifle 10X+ with AO and mil dots
with my eyesight I think a magnified prismatic might be worth the $$$ for hunting platforms
And sorry for the two PB references on this forum..lol

I presume when you say targets we are talking about at least semi precision shooting, so I voted 10x +.

For casual shooting I will always prefer iron or peep sights.

LPVO with 1 to 4 or 8 X is not on the list.  But then do these exist with parallax adjustable down to 10 yards?  If they did and I could afford to buy one, that would be my preference.

I am guessing that most of the people that prefer 10X or higher shoot from a sable rest?  More than 2X makes my offhand wobble worse.

Fiber optics front only.

Used to be traditional 'iron sights', but my older getting eyes don't support that anymore. So fiber optics front will do.

Tried red dots too, can't get used of them. But I am unexperienced with red dots, so that's me, not the red dot.

Btw what is the definition of target shooting here ? for me that is shooting a low powered (sub 12fpe) airgun up to ranges of 15yrds. Just saying to set the scene. Anything beyond 15yrds it is scope only.

I agree that a definition of "target" should have been included. I went with precision/bench targets.
