I usually watch AAG via recordings.  I noticed I had missed it the last couple of weeks and started to watch them.  They must be some older episodes since Tom Gaylord is on them.  Something happen to delay production?

Yeah, happens from time to time. But this week was a fresh one, and DARN good. Need to practice a new skill to enhance my shooting sessions.

I never understood what happened to Tom on the show.  No matter I like it either way.

I read that Tom had some health problems, although I certainly can't vouch for the accuracy of those reports.  I certainly hope those reports are unfounded.  I only met Tom once but I found him to be a genuinely nice guy and a lot of fun to shoot with.

Yes, Tom had some very serious health issues.
Cancer
He was hospitalized for quite some time, but I believe he is doing pretty well now.
I actually really like his work, and his blog is simply fantastic.
He puts a huge amount of work into it, and he answers nearly any possible question asked, whether on the topic of his current posts or not.
His wife and friends helped fill the gaps while he was ill, so he also has some very good people close to him.
I consider him the best friend I never met.

I was just watching an old episode where Paul and Tom do a quick tune on a RWS 34 Panther.  I wish I had seen that before I messed up all the rifles I've messed up.

I was glad to see that as well.  It was nice to see someone else do it before I try.
