I think the power adjuster is all the way up.. I haven't messed with it yet. Like I said, that mag is a bit wonky and it may have had something to do with it.
Also the batteries in the chrono are getting low.. I shot 4 7 round mags and only recorded 25 shots.. I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

Again, I shoot from a bench at 35yds. The smooth side lever, the good trigger and the accuracy of this gun makes it well within the 'keeper' range for me. Being not pellet picky is icing on the cake. I just have to adjust windage and elevation if I switch pellets. I can log the numbers on the turrets and make the adjustments prior to shooting different pellets.  It's all part of the joy of airgunning.

Well, I was attending the FUGLY party the other day and Firewalker offered me his red headed stepchild Sentry.
Apparently he had given up after lots of tinkering and a second barrel.
I accepted the challenge and big brown delivered the 'basket case' today.
The gun is missing a few parts for mounting the stock to the action and the front tube cover halves.
He sent the extra barrel and 3 mags. One of the mags has the stop pin broke off but it can be used.... I just have to wind it up to get tension on the spring before loading pellets. No biggie, I already have another like this.
n his frustration he tried to salvage the stock for another gun and modified it. Again, no biggie, Mike at FD supplied me with one and I was able to zip tie it to the action temporarily.
Mike is out of town for a couple weeks. When he returns I'll see about getting thee missing parts.

Mr. Firewalker was right... this thing shotguns pellets all over the place. I tried 5 different types with no joy including pellets that my other Sentry shoots great. FW said he got the same results from both barrels. I'm not convinced the barrels are the issue here.
I spied down the spare barrel and it looks as good as any barrel I've seen. The crown looks clean and passed the fuzzy q tip test. I suspect the barrel on the gun will look the same. No way I'm gonna believe 2 back to back brand new barrels have the same issue.
Next I checked for leaky or missing oring at the bolt probe... nope, not even a whisper.
I also can't find any signs of clipping on the muzzle break.
OK, these are the obvious things. Tomorrow the chrono comes out... let's see what's really going on here.

There is a diamond hiding somewhere in the rough and I'm gonna find it.

Bill, i hope your right about finding the fix......i had 2 of them and both were sent back for refunds.
same thing, shotgun affect with all pellets or slugs. barrels were good.
never found out the reason, didnt care.  just glad i got my $$ back.

I don't have anything to speak of invested in this one. There is something amiss and I'm determined to find it. With no investment I don't have the pressure of losing anything. I mean, it ain't rocket science. I've stepped away from things like this before and suddenly a little light came on.
I'm very interested in the tale the chrono will tell.

All else fails, I have another one that shoots good. I can swap the barrels out and completely eliminate them as the issue.

LOL... I know some farmers... they work pretty hard. Not my idea of retired. 
But then again... if you enjoy what your doing it's not work. And if it makes you money it's even better.

Oh well, all else fails I got a good pile of spare parts.

It was kept in a climate controlled magazine along with other guns but they made fun of him all the time being neked and such, "You so skinny, you aint got no butt!". I put a pair of glasses on him but he still couldn't hit the inside of the pole barn!

"NO MORE XISICO'S !" I bellowed, then I bought a DAR, and another, another, another and another, then I found out the awful truth when I bought my JTS...

There ALL flipping xisico's! The DAR's stopped teasing the Sentry but it was too late, he packed himself up and left for Bill's house.

Yessir... I plan on doing a bit of sampling myself this weekend.

I got out early this morning and aired up the Sentry II to 3k. Decided to call it Sentry II. I wouldn't want the PC police after me for calling it a basket case. 
Rigged up the ProChrono and linked via bluetooth to the tablet.
Loaded up some mags with 27gr pellets that I cast and ran a 26 shot string. Power adjuster is set at just shy of 4.
I don't see anything here that would expose the accuracy issue.

Yeah, it's a 100 fps spread over a 26 shot string but I would think that would result in vertical stringing and not shotgun pattern all over the place.
