Whatever group your getting with the Apollo 18s, my Notos would be about a pellet width outside group at the same distance. A nice alternative if you enjoy casting.  With my time investment Apollo 18s or CPHPs are probably a more efficient selection...lol

Picked up the regulator zblock. Having psi gauges. Adjuster screw is all the way out and maxed at 1000psi. Haven’t chrono’d it yet.
Anybody else having issues getting their pressure high enough?

wyn1370, check the regulator Delrin seal make sure it has enough of a notch in it so air can go around it properly also make sure the piston slides smoothly and no obstructions in the ports, be sure to open the bottle shut off valve if applies to your block.

 Mine was not regulator related, my first thought was I needed more plenum, but in my case I had the barrel port ofset by 3/4 so I lost velocity not plenum pressure.
 Is it possible the gauge is faulty ?  Crony will help diagnose for sure.

Forum member rualert has a handguard design for the Notos that might interest people watching this Notos thread.  The handguard has an octagonal cross section, with MLock slots on some of the flanks.  It slips over the air tank, and has retention features to hold the handguard in place:

     Hey Bill, I have no intention of competing with Buck Rail, I simply worked with a designer for another version that I was able to print. so turns out I got a bad Zblock and it's getting returned

decided to try a different route and got the unregulated block and a fixed output bottle regulator

Problem I have now is the threading on the block is not deep enough to screw onto the notos. Is it normal to have to tap some additional threads to get it to fully thread on?

 In my Neutered thread I did chop off the forward part of a bottle  regulator adapter to thread all the way, and the oring goes in the remaining grove where they mate.

My Carbon Fiber Plenum length hand-guard is promised Tuesday night via the brown van elves....Tonight I but the valve/airtube transfer block in the vise and inched up by 1/64 inch increments to 3/16 inch aka 4.8mm.  Used the dremel to port the edges.  I ordered a set of diamond tips from AliEx that have come in real handy. Once reassembled and the GXPump CS1 arrives we'll put project Notos over the chrono.  While I have her in pieces it occurred to me to do my dremel and Mother's polish job on the trigger assembly.  That'll be tomorrow as BabyGirl and Memsahib are in bed already....I guess she needs that Bi-pod and Donny FL to be "finished."
FWIW the hammer spring is just shy of contact with the hammer so she's apparently a SSS which explains the modest air consumption.  Nice touch.

yes, you need a M16x1 tap
btw, was the other drop block a Huben block or just a no-name generic block? the regulated generic blocks have a issue with the regulator, the seal that seat to the inlet is not notched to allow air to go around it.
Huben drop Blocks work fine.
I just converted mine to a Huben drop block, still dialing it in..... too hot outside to do anything right now.

The Huben Power Dream Valve drop blocks are very nice, they come with the plenum and clocking ring. They also don't need to be tapped deeper.

the regulator on my Huben block was sticking and pressure was climbing to high, I took it a part and found the piston was sticking, not moving smoothly, so I polished the cylinder and piston, replaced the O-ring, lubed and now it is working properly again.
