Yep, slow and steady is not a bad thing!  Since they run so cool, you're not having to constantly keep an eye on the temperature gauge either.  Yea, I added one to my CS4, but it's really a joke, I've yet to see the temp rise above 80-85F!

How did you select the temp gauge from all the available ones?

The one I have on the CS4 is one Bill [avator] had shown me.  It runs off external power through a USB Charger, not a battery like some of the others.  Plus, it's color, so it's purty!

Yes, I use these.... one thing I will say is... the gauge hash marks are fake.. they do not move with temp increase and decrease. But the digital read out works really well and the LED makes it easy to read. And, it's in Fahrenheit.
I have my water pump and and this gauge plugged into a power strip. I plug the compressor directly into the wall outlet. I know that if the gauge is not lit up then my water pump is not running... just a handy little reminder.
And just for gits and shiggles, I change the pin inside that factory gauge that came with the YH from C to F. I nw use that gauge in my water supply bucket just to get read on water temps. Just leave the probe dangle in the water about halfways to the bottom.

Kinda sorta....  Many chargers come with the outlet adapter. Some do not. This does not. I think they are referring to the outlet adaptor when they say phone charger.

Yes, any standard USB phone charger should work.  I have an outlet strip with a couple USB ports built in and I just plug it in that, then when I turn it on, it powers on the inverter and the temp gauge.

Here are some pictures I previous took:

First is the temp gauge mounted to the top of the compressor.  I 3D printed the bracket, believe I found it on Thingiverse.

Second is the power supply/Inverter.  I mounted a piece of plywood to the back of my workbench and then mounted the power supply to it so it's under the bench and out of the way.

Third is the temp guage probe zip tied to the fins of the outer cylinder of the compressor. 

I ran the temp probe wire through the air circulation opening on the back of the compressor housing.  It's not shown, but the outlet strip is just zip tied to the back leg of the work bench right under the compressor so it's easy to just flip the switch on the outlet strip to power everything on when I'm ready to fill.

One thing to keep in mind....
Max fill on an Avenger is 300 bar... that's 4360 psi. I choose to fill that gun with my YH due to the speed of it.
The CS3 can do it, just takes longer.

Yep, my Huben takes a 350 BAR fill, that 5076 PSI, the CS3 won't do that, but the CS4 will!  I've had the Huben for almost a year, and the first time I've ever been able to fill it to it's max was a few weeks ago when I got the CS4!

Yep, I'd just rather not work the CS3 that hard when I have other compressors that do it just fine. As for the 3k and 3300psi guns... CS3 all day long no problem.
