Resizing cast slugs?

Following a live chat in which EdinGa mentioned that the Urban likes the NOE 217-30 HP slugs, and was kind enough to send me a few to try.

He wasn't kidding, the Urban likes them!
The scope is now zeroed to these rounds at 100 yards.

I am now the proud owner of a 4 hole mold that will get it's 1st run today!

My Avenger however does not like them. They chamber HARD, and don't shoot well out of it.

I have read that the Avenger likes slugs that are sized at .216, so I was wondering what I might (would) need to be able to resize the .217 slugs down to .216?

Does anyone have any input on this? Am I wasting my time trying this?

 The first is the size bushing, the next is a kit if you have a press, last is all you need, for fast sizing, but one can work with just a bushing to start with, just need a bit of ingenuity.

I've resized the slugs to.215 and they seemed to shoot pretty good but had to much friction in the barrel which cost vel. Your avenger uses the same barrel.

I had to make a 2.14" sizer from a MOE .172" sizer, by drilling/honing. The slugs shot much better in my .22 liberty.

For my Liberty I size the NOE 218-25-RF slugs down to .215, all my other guns that I use them in like them just the way they drop from the mold.  Nova Vista guns all seem to have a small bore.
