Daisy peep sights working on other guns?

I found a Daisy match grade rear peep sight model 5899 for around $33. and from what I've be been able to find via google that it is set up to fit 3/8 and 11mm rails.  Would like to know if anyone has had any experience with this setup?  I'd like to use it on some of my Diana low power springers and some CO2 rifles.  Thanks in advance.  Charles

That should fit the receiver OK.
The trick will be how well it lines up with the front sight......

I googled the sight and found information that was given on past posts indicating that it might be suitable for CO2 guns.  Being plastic I'd agree.  I just now ordered one to see how well it is made and possibly use it at a later date.  Charles

Tried like *(&^ to get my daisy diopter peep to fit a qb78, r7, and d34. No dice. Mine might be for a thinner rail than the one you got. Mine woukdn't stay put on the r7... it kept creeping back and jumping off every 10 shots about.

Works great on the 880, the model 35, and I've used them on a couple other pumpers.
They don't fit on the Crosman pistol platform steel breaches though.

The base is cast metal, the aperture is steel, and some of the other parts are plastic.
I would imagine it holding up just fine on a springer.

Does this require a taller front blade for the 880?

Took a look at the product number... i have this peep and the diopter. The peep in question would not work with my qb 78. The diopter peep did work with the 10m qb series rifle and is still on it shooting fine.
