I've been trying to decide on a nice close range scope for the Notos. I had ordered a 3-9X32 side parallax Bug Buster from Optic Planet, but the sent the wrong one, they sent the front AO model instead, so it went back. Then I saw this Hawke Vantage 2-7X32 AO on sale at Optics Planet during the April Fool's Day mystery sale, and snatched it for a decent price of $77! It's listed at $125 now, so I'm guessing I got a good deal! I still need to zero it, but did get it mounted to the Notos this evening.

It's my first Hawke scope other than the crosbow scope I have on my Air Javelin Pro. Looks like it's got good clear glass! I figured I must have hit the jackpot when I went back the next day to look over the specs and the price had increased to $125!
hawke makes good glass for sure, i had the 2-7 on my notos for a short time, really looked at home on it,and lightweight.but i sold it and put a 3-12x44 compact FFP on.im apparently such a first focal plane fanboy that i cant stand second focal plane anything anymore lol
I have 3 Carm 6 shot magazines arriving soon. And yes I don’t like FFP for close range guns such as the Notos because I don’t need 10x just to see the reticle at 20 yards

I printed Peter's latest revision of his short snout Notos Baffle Extension yesterday. It took 10 hours and 16 minutes to finish, after several failed attempts because I could not get the initial layer to adhere to the printer's base plate. It finally stuck, although it was a messy start, I was able to clean it up.I installed two 1.5mm X 18mm BUNA N-70 O-Rings and fit it into the housing. It was a good snug fit and the retention pins lined up very well. Below are some pictures of it installed on my Notos, alonge with a picture of my 40 yard test shot with a CPUD pellet! Not bad at all! Oh, and it's much quieter than the stock baffle, so quiet, about all you hear is the hammer slap the valve poppet and the pellet slap the target! I'm very pleased with this addition, and thank Peter and the others who contributed to all the R&D that went into developing this Moderator, and thanks to Mike for his assit with ensureing I had the printer set up correctly for PETG, since this was the first time I had used PETG!
