I have a 13 ci ninja tank left overflow a gauntlet. It is 2 inch in diameter and hits the barrel. Did you have this problem? What is the od of your tank?

He still be wasting pumps everytime he disconnects and reconnects the hand pump.

The only way to get around that is to have the pump permanently on the gun (e.g. Seneca Aspen). With the pump on the gun a person doesn't suffer from lost pumps.....unless they decide to manually bleed the gun.

Is not the low pressure on the Skout what closes the valve?.... not what produces the power?....

Don't forget that power source for an air gun is the air. So for a given energy level, if the air pressure is low then the volume used will have to be higher. Since the OP was talking about all this in the context of hand pumping, a key variable in all this is efficiency . . .

The Scouts have the long barrel and low pressure going for them, but we really don't know anything about efficiency or air usage yet . . .

Apparently the valve only opens 1/50,000" and can be set to open up to 25m/s, with a standard opening time of around 15m/s...

There is a lot to understand about the Skout which I do not.... Our pellets only spend 2-4 mSec. in the barrel, and if the valve is open longer than that, normally that would mean releasing air after Elvis has left the building.... the 1/50,000" makes no sense either, but as I say, I do not understand the mechanism.... I am looking at it through the lense of all the rest of the PCPs around....

I recommend just getting something like the Fortitude and handpumping to 2k. You'll still get enough shots of squirrel-killing power.

The new Crosman/Benjamin catalog shows there will be a 3622 and a 3677 in the 2000 psi fill category sometime this year...Style will be like the 362 MSP...

So, looks like the Lego rifle/carbine/pistol will live on..

Hi Ed they obviously did not proofread with someone who knows their products... and got things very wrong... also can read integrated sound suppression and Picatinny mounts...

on the Icon they said 2000psi fill...
