Just that.
They are reasonably priced, but some say they are and some say they aren't.
Does anyone here have real world springer experience with them?
Thanks!

Like you, over the years I've heard they are and also that they aren't. I never tried one on a springer so I'm looking forward to someone with personal knowledge definitively answering your question.

According to Bushnell - no. The only ones that Bushnell says are start with the Trophy series and go up in quality. I bought a Bushnell AR 3-12 X 40 and it has held up on a Trail Np at 17 fpe for many thousands of shots. GREAT scope.

Thanks Ken!
I've called Bushnell twice about this and gotten different responses.
I think the trouble may be in the names. I think that some Banner models are OK for springers and some are not.
If that's true, my guess is that it isn't related to construction, but instead to price level/profit margin.
As in, I'm guessing that they are willing to cover the more expensive (more magnification/AO) models because they have the profit cushion.
But I have no idea, just guesses.
I would really like to see them make a scope or two to compete directly with the Hawke Vantage line though. A 3-9x36 AO and maybe a 4-12x42 AO or similar, with at least a Mil Dot reticle. A half-mil or, dare I dream, an MOA reticle would be terrific.
They probably feel that they're covering that market with the Tasco airgun line but I don't read good things about them.

My CFR a 8 fpe rifle killed a old Sportsman model and the Banner sent to replace the discontinued Sportsman. The rifle has a gas ram but it is only shooting RWS Superdome at 700 fps.It is 177 caliber

I have an old Bushnell TROPHY 6-18x40 that I mounted on a RWS 48 back in the early 90s. While it has withstood the recoil of that springer, it has not been without issues. The jolt forward caused turret lube to splatter on the lenses inside the scope. It was returned to Bushnell once years ago and within a few shots of it coming back from repairs, it was in need of being sent back again.
