Play in fwb 300s action?

I just bought a fwb 300s off the neghbor kid who wanted money for some bills. He would not take a gift or a loan . He put some stuff up for sale so I just bought the fwb. Trouble is it has rotational play in her in the stock... the action and the trigger rotate a fair bit. Is that normal? Or what do I look for? I know it was resealed a while back by a non expert in fwb. .... hopefully it is a simple fix if needed. Thanks in advanve

You will have to pull the action and check the slide mechanism in correlation to the barrel/receiver. Two guide pins in the front, one rear guide in the rear.  One in the rear has two dimples that snap into the slide when correct.  If the guide pins are sloppy in the guide holes then not much you can do other drill bushing or weld/drill and rebuild it.

Well I did pull the action and it is missing one of the front slide pins... doesnt seem loose or worn but won't likely know until I get a replacement... if I can. I feel better knowing at least. I believe it will be fixable vs junk or parts donor

Well.. good news I believe... further looking I heard a noise of something bouncing around in the action... I moved in around and the pin fell out I slid it back in n she seems tight. Now I just have to find a proper c clip   any of ya know the proper size to use?

Don’t hold me to it but I believe it is this one below, but you will have to mic it to make sure.  I am not where I can check it.

It would probably be cheaper and easier to go to Harbor Freight and buy their kit of c clips for less than $10.  Bound to be one in there that fits close enough.  AND you will have a multiple lifetime supply....

I ordered from Nikonas  a guy on ebay who I have dealt with before for other fwb parts. 1.00 a clip Canadian. I ordered 2 clips n shipped will be like 2.75 US .... cheap enough I thought. I called ISS first but had not heard back after I left a message.

I changed the part number above ending in a 5 instead of a 6.  Regardless I mic’d the ones I have and I believe the above dimensions are correct.
