My reasoning to have every mold usable in calabers I own is to have every option possible. I didn't need it but I did need to finish out my collection. Besides what kind of enabler would I be if I agreed with you lol.

The NOE 217-17-WC is the trickiest of all NOE molds that I have to cast, I've got it down pretty good these days where I can cast about 300 of them with probably 20 rejects and it's usually the skirt.It's got such a small sprue hole so I've found pouring a good couple of puddles on the sprue to begin with, then the lead will flow better using a Lyman Little Dipper.
Eddie I always use the pressure pour method though as many know. I think the WC would probably be hard to do with a bottom pour.
