Many NOE Moulds Restocked

All three .22 cal Pellet moulds.... 17 gr. Wadcutter, 20 gr. Hunter, and 24 gr. Magnum are again in stock, although brass seems to be lagging (I think Al has a supply issue).... In addition, the 30 gr. BBT is also in stock, and the 25 gr. HP as well, so all you guys who were waiting for .22 cal airgun moulds should be good to go....

In .25 cal, there is stock on the 22 gr. Wadcutter, the 27 gr. Hunter, the 34 gr. Magnum, the 40 gr. double-ended Wadcutter, and the 60 gr. BBT....

In .257 cal, the 257420 75 gr. Boattail has some moulds available....

The 7mm 106 gr. that Scott Hull is using out to 500 M is also in stock.... first of the new BBT designs....

In addition, in .30 cal, the 46 gr. Hunter is back in stock, along with the 55 gr. HP....

All you guys that have been screaming for moulds, get 'em while they're hot!!!!

Do I? These 20 grain hunters smack like a sledgehammer and they're accurate. That's the logic I'm trying to use.    I'm really kinda tainted by the brass .25 wadcutter mold, I think. I'm just not a fan of it.

My reasoning to have every mold usable in calabers I own is to have every option possible. I didn't need it but I did need to finish out my collection. Besides what kind of enabler would I be if I agreed with you lol.

The NOE 217-17-WC is the trickiest of all NOE molds that I have to cast, I've got it down pretty good these days where I can cast about 300 of them with probably 20 rejects and it's usually the skirt.
It's got such a small sprue hole so I've found pouring a good couple of puddles on the sprue to begin with, then the lead will flow better using a Lyman Little Dipper.

I'm pretty liberal with the lead on my sprue plates when I'm casting these little pellets and slugs. It's tough to keep it hot if you don't splash a little extra.

Eddie I always use the pressure pour method though as many know.  I think the WC would probably be hard to do with a bottom pour.

Me too, Wayne. I finally wised up and listened to you. I splash a little extra with the ladle after I finish the pour. I don't do it on every pour but I will if my sprues are cooling too fast.

I do every pour so I have one big cutting vs a pile of smaller ones works better for my small set up. Now that the kid that lives down stairs I might set up my work bench in the shed we shared.

I just got the last one I needed to complete my selection for the 22/25 cals,
for now,
I goofed and bought 2 of the 250-27gr molds, instead of 1-27gr and - 1- 34gr mold,
so now I have an extra, to get rid of.

Don I'm wanting to get that .177 BBT mold bigtime, hopefully they'll be coming soon.  I plan on shooting them mainly with my .177 DAR.  I see that you have one too, I actually got a turkey with mine, it was about a 35 yard head shot for a whole lot of flopping and good eating.
