I have the 4 cavity mold, and still working on getting decent yield. Maybe I should install a TC on the mold, after all NOE offers that as an option. Maybe it is simply temperature control. Or maybe not.

I had the same rejection rate with mine. I was using a plumber's ladle to pound the lead in but nothing I tried helped. Then I read Wayne's tutorial on casting and bought one of the ladles he used. Problem solved! I throw very few back now. I don't know how or why it works and I don't care. I've been casting for handguns for close to 35 years and it had me stumped. Time to go cast some more!
