If anyone wishes to shoot indoors and they are in the Broome county area I would enjoy the camaraderie.

Well I wanted to put up a photo of my 48 but I don't know how to use Photoshop to shrink it to 200k. With all the posts I see on the RWS 48 my stocker looks like their stocker. I did notice one thing, I don't need that droop compensator rail on my gun at all. But I do need to learn how to make these photos smaller so I can post photos.

I Googled how to use Photoshop to reduce size in photos, it is easy enough. I would have been fiddling with it for days trying to figure it out. I am grateful that there are people out there willing to post their work and or efforts so that others like myself can learn. Photoshop 6 can do it so I know all the newer ones will too. Here's a link if you have Photoshop and wish to reduce photos to use in the forums.

As I was saying a few days ago I was trying to get into the local gun club so I can do some indoor tuning of my Diana 48, after bore sighting it, it only took another 20 maybe 30 rounds to start putting them in the bull. Man that T06 trigger is amazing. Not bad for freestanding 20 yard shots. I found that if I cradle it open palm, elbow at my side she shoots like a dream, it lightly jumps up, if I grip it firmly it jumps to the right and the pellet hits high. I attached a target.

I have the 48 in .177 and a 48 copy in .22. Both are great shooters. The 48 is a sweet gun.

I am indeed loving it, I should have replaced my 34 with a 48 a long time ago. I'm just surprised that it shoots the Crosman premiums as well as it does. I'm already into a third tin of them. Luckily they are only $10

The T06 trigger is so fine that the pellet is already through the target before I decide to flinch, (laughing) just a bit of exaggeration there but, the factory setting is pretty nice. I have a friend that does all the trigger work on the various guns I compete with, and he agreed, I should leave this one alone. So having nothing to do to the 48, I tore my Benjamin apart but I'm discussing that in the Crosman/Benjamin forum where it belongs, and not here where, "these guns are like works of art!"

Congrat's on your Model 48 !!!!
I've had mine for 20yrs and I'd love to know how many squirrels I've taken with it the first 10yrs I've owned it.

I have a 34 with the T06 trigger.
The 34 I owned was a great shooter too. I picked it up used back in the 70's (back when I CHASED nutters) so it didn't matter how noisy it was. I think the previous owner took it apart though because the spring noise was ridiculously loud, so it scared the game and me until I got used to it. So that's why I would "chase" the squirrels that were up in the trees. They didn't hear, or see me on the ground, so I'd sit, listen, and watch the stand of oaks I hunted, for all of the odd things squirrels do when they eat. I would stand where it dropped, clean skin and listen for the next feasting nutter then move to that location. This 48 is so quiet that I pop them on the ground as well as in the trees, none seem to be the wiser. Thanks for the memories guys

Glad to see you have stuck with it. It's hard to beat them. I got the same reaction with a firm grip. I tried this and it works for me. Make a fist, facing towards you, relax it and bend the wrist so your palm faces upwards. You use your extended thumb and pinky as guides, and rest the elbow into your body. Just sit the stock on your 3 fingers and palm up. Mine balances well there. Just thought I'd throw it out there, for what it's worth, it worked for me.

Man thats tough. Fixed barrels have a tendacy to be more accurate and the 350 is tempermental and hold sensative and crazy acurate when mastered and shot regularly. I have a 470 adn 2 350's with a 3rd on the way. the 470 is more accurate. But I have a love affair with the 350's so I have another 22 pro compact on the way. They are harder to shoot but are very nice rifles. If its a magnum class rifle and you want to be able to pick it up and shoot it like you did 6 months ago go with the 48, if you shoot weekly and want a very fine rifle the 350 is the way to go.
Man I need to pay attention! lol
