The BSA Meteor Evo is on the way!I didn't realize that it was going to be shipped all the way from the Netherlands. Does anyone know how much time airguns from Krale usually make it from there to, say, NY State, USA?Thanks!

3 days tops to your door.
By all reports they are not only fast, but use a good carrier and are just as good about returns, if needed.Universally considered to be a first rate retailer.
If I might ask, what did the shipping cost?
Just curious....... their site states that in order to complete a purchase you are required to supply them with a copy of a certified document to prove you are in fact at least 18 years old. What kind of proof are you guys using when you purchase from them ? A copy of drivers license ? Thanks.Jeff
Well that does it for me. I'm sure they are a reputable and legitimate company but, I just don't think I can bring myself to put a copy of my ID out there. Those hackers out there are getting better and better at what they do.I just can't seem to get that night mare out of my head. Yes, it's unjustified because I have yet to hear anything but good about Krale but, that dark feeling remains. It may even have something to do with the fact that I recently retired and with the fixed income being lower than before we are a bit more mindful of what and when we spend. We have the means to live comfortably but I guess we just keep our eyes open a bit wider than before.I've been known to take a few risks in the past with online purchases and recovered on the couple occasions that things went south but I'm just not as quick to hang my face out there anymore.I don't see any reason for an air gun supplier to require an ID for the purchase of an airgun. Maybe if it were a PB I could see it. A simple check in the box should relieve them of legal responsibility like others accept.

Different countries have different laws, they don't just all use our laws. Also they're shipping internationally, which probably comes with additional regulations. I don't blame you for not wanting to send a pic of your license though.I've read your posts, you don't need another airgun anyway

I've heard of some truly despicable scams, especially of people in and above my age bracket. I purchased identity theft insurance because of this.I hesitated a moment myself, but after seeing nothing but great reviews of Krale, I went ahead and sent it to them. I can completely understand and respect reluctance to share personal information over the web (and even by email or phone).-W
