Lithotripsy (kidney stones) for the second time in 6 weeks today. 1st time didn't get them all. I'll get home this evening just in time for the winter storm and a foot of snow tomorrow. Third surgery for me since October. 2 for kidney stones, other was heart surgery. Drs will put the Watchman Device in my heart within the next couple months after these kidney stones are taken care of. I went from a healthy 70 year old man a year ago, no meds, no issues, to this. Kind of overwhelming now that I'm living by myself. Trying to be positive, 6 months from now my kidney stones will be taken care of, my AFib will be addressed, and no more blood thinners ever.

Yep, I'm surprised at how fast I started falling apart in the past year or so.
Never had kidney stones and my heart and lungs are good. The rest of my body is taking the fun out of it.

Dang Mike, it hurts just hearing you talk about it! I’ll be praying for you buddy.  Do you have enough supplies to just hunker down through the storm and let it melt off a little?

Are you near Omaha? At the end of the month or very first part of February I'm going to be in Omaha for a few days training for a new job. I've gotten bored with the retired life and am getting back into the work force at 65 1/2. Will be working as a 1099 employee for company based in Omaha.

Speaking of such.. I just got off the phone with Killer. They found some skin cancer he's going to have removed. Other than that, he's in great spirits. We spent 30 minutes or so laughing and joking.

Been there Mike as I had the same procedure numerous times. When they do the job right you don't feel a thing afterward but otherwise the stent can cause a lot of pain, plus removing it isn't fun either. They never get rid of the stones completely, just reduce them until they're no longer causing an issue. If you don't change what and how you eat and drink plus stay active then the stones will grow again so do your research to prevent that.
