FX Royale 400 has arrived

A new FX Royale 400 found it's way to my porch this afternoon. It has an air regulator, a power adjuster, a Huggett moderator and a Hawke Eclipse SF 4-16x50 scope. It was almost dark before I had a chance to take it outside for a couple of quick shots. The Huggett moderator makes the Royale quieter than my Indy. The power adjustments should be roughly 12 fpe, 22 fpe, and 36 fpe, shooting JSB 15.9. I was told at low power, I can expect close to 300 shots per fill and around 90 shots at full power. Here's a couple of pics. The pic of the power adjuster didn't turn out too clear, but you can see the markings on the knob. The markings a  .  ..  ...  In the pic, it's on full power

I bought it from AOA. $200 more for the power adjuster. Call them about the Huggett. The Hawke is on their site also

When I went to Jim's (Precision Airguns) to get my Marauder, I saw a FX400 and a FX500. I have to admit that I still think about em! Absolutely beautiful rifles, even with the synthetic stocks.

It balances really nice, even with the extra inch in front from the Huggett moderator. I've shot maybe 4 mags so far, all on high power. Very little variation in fps. Should be able to shoot almost 4 more mags before refilling. It would take me a long time to see if I get 300 shots on low power.
