That's awesome! My 217-20-RF is just that accurate too.
I've been waiting for this mold for quite some time in aluminum and 4 cavity but either the piggybank was empty or NOE was out of stock. Last month, I saw them on Al's site and snatched one up only to get a call from AL telling me the site was wrong and he was out of stock.Along comes DJ once again with the save! The mold arrived a couple weeks back and I cast a few pellets with it, cleaned it, adjusted and lubed it, threw a bunch and did a heavy cull. The DAR G3 keyholes them but the Varmint seems to be a big fan!Honestly, I thought the gun was broken for a moment, looking through my scope I saw a hole right next to the center of the bull but I didn't see any following shots at all. I sent five shots down to the trap.I looked carefully on the target but there was only one hole, sure enough, there were five pellets in the trap, I couldn't believe my eyes! No, I couldn't repeat that trick but every five shot group is a single ragged hole of various sizes, some small as ."20 going up to about .33"..This is crazy! I've never had a hand cast pellet or slug do this well, this is right In JSB territory!
Awesome, I'm glad it's working for you! The mold is probably just now getting "broken in" and will probably give you less culls in the future.

I always run my pot hotter for these small pellets and slugs. I also use a torch to get the pins hot before I start. Pouring a little extra lead on top of the sprue plate helps to heat things up too.
I have the 250-27-RF mold 4 cavity aluminum. My rifle so far will not shoot them. It is the worst pellet I have shot. Tea cup size groups and 50 yds. I ordered the lighter mold because of how good my rifle shot the 25.4 JSB's. This was my first pour into the mold and I did have some deformed skirts which I weeded out. Head dimension seemed steady but weight varied a grain of so. After pouring for a while I poured four and measured and weighed. Weight varied about 2/10ths a grain. Any advise?
AEA carbine 25. I'm trying to do some more right now. Changed the pins to match probe better and running it hot. Just did some, the skirt edge is where I struggle. I took a torch and warmed the pins seemed to help.
