Thread order

For me the threads come up newest to oldest in a post. Can the order be reversed to the more "normal" direction used by most discussion boards?

Yeah, I don't like that either, but I haven't found a way to fix it yet.

I noticed that too, but when threads get long and stretched over several days it is convenient to have the newest posts at the top.  My browser always skips to the bottom so now I have learned to scroll up instead of down

You can change it in your profile section.

Yeap, you can go to your profile. Click on "Look and Layout Options".  There is a check box near the bottom that says "Show most recent posts at the top" you need to UNCHECK that and it will be normal for you in the future. 

(Amazing what you can do when you read the help files    However, that is a gurl-like thing and I fully understand why you wouldn't want to do that)

Can't stand the "backward" order with the original post on the bottom. Kinda like needing to drill down through an email to get to the original message. Glad I can fix it in my profile, but a most of the time I just do a quick surf without logging in. Oh well, like most other changes, I'll get used to it.

There are a couple of other things you can do with this more powerful forum software.  You can give yourself your own title! 

1) Click on profile
2) Go to "My Profile"
3) In the "Personal Text" box, you can put in whatever you like.  On my profile I put in my location "Knoxville, TN"
4) Go down further and you see "Custom Title".  That is where you can put something in there like "Hero of the Revolution" of other such rot.

One main reason for posting this was to "get the word out that you can change it". A little method to my madness here.

On some boards you can change the direction on the page you are on and not have to go into CP or Profile or whatever the particular board calls it. But thanks....

Got it changed. WOW, what a relief. Some AWESOME stuff in that Profile section!! This board went from the stone ages to the the most modern board there is!!
