Would an Element Optics Helix 4-16x44 be good for hunter field target? Will the parallax give good ranging?

You need to go down to 10 yds or less.

You need to go down to 10 yds or less.One of the vendor sites had the minimum distance at 10 yards. Element's site says 15. "dang", I ordered one on sale last night on DVOR.
15y is not usable for FT. I have a scope that focuses to 10m and it's just usable. I run a high scope height and the difference between 10m and 9m is quite a few clicks. I also find that scopes maxing out at 16x are not typically as clear as 24x scopes set for 16. Just my 2¢
