hello from thailand

started plinking with friends probably 30 years ago but only now just getting back into it after a 15 year break.

just bought the gamo pt85 pistol but i'm interested in getting another pistol as well as two rifles. probably just based on location i'll end up with one or more of those being chinese so i ended up here while i was looking for info.

pistols are for plinking around my yard within 30 yards and the rifles would be used on the family land up north. i think i'd like one of each to be springers and i'd definitely like to try a PCP, probably as a rifle.

no particular brand affiliations, just want to start shooting again.

hello everyone, sawadee khrap.  the only hunting i'll get to do here is for myna birds. i suppose i can hunt for coconuts and papayas but it's not quite the same. thanks for the welcome.

no favorite yet, grew up with daisy and crosman rifles and then forgot all about shooting for a couple of decades. a lot seems to have changed since then. my only gun now is a gamo pt85 pistol which i am really enjoying shooting so far. definitely going to be adding to it soon.

hunting is "technically" illegal here. hasn't stopped the thai's from killing every loose animal though. where i live is on the outskirts of a city, no hunting grounds but i do have the invasive myna's for some moving target practice. once i get up north again to our rice paddies i'll have more things to target, and should have an air rifle or two rather than just my pistol. i think i posted a couple of photos of it in the gamo forum.
