Thanks for the link! there is a lot of neat stuff there even for those of us that can't read Russian.

A lot of good pics of the renderings of the assemblies, but also some factory pictures (second link, and then click on the 2nd topic from the bottom on the left hand side of the site). Neat magazine and the baffle system for a quiet front end.

This is a gun I saw here a while back and have been searching for ever since. No clue on if they import them but what I will say is the one place I found them for sale, the rifle cost $1799 US. That was after I did the exchange rate calculations. They also offer the rifle in a carbine and bullpup version.

We gotta get these Russian guns over here now

Here's an idea. let's all chip in and try to buy one (agree on the model), then ship it to Gene, let him check it out like he did the Retay. Once he's finished with it, the rifle can be raffled off among those who chipped in. Do ya feel lucky, **nk? Well? Do ya?!

To be on the up and up, we could ask a moderator to set up a Pay Pal account where people could send money to buy the (?) rifle. That way all entries' names will be documented too.
Yes, I took my morning meds.

Just a thought. We could actually do this for any rifle out there, any time. Might want to figure out how to conver those who don't have a Pay Pal account too. Maybe they send payment to Gene or whomever the moderator might be, and he sends funds to Pay Pal with a notation on who the funds represent?

Darryl that's a great idea but there are two problems. 1) we have no way of getting one. 2) I would much rather buy one than potentially lose it in a raffle
