Real world numbers for Stock Marauder?

I'm looking to get more umph from my Mrod, maybe push some 18-24 grain lead to 900-1000 fps.  Realistic?  What kind of power can I expect from my stock rifle, if I tune it for higher fill pressures?  What kind of shot count could I expect?

well my discovery stock shot a predator polymag at 776fps a mrod is listed to shoot 100fps faster then the discovery does out of the box.. so id say a 16gr pellet would come out in the 835 - 900 fps

I rather doubt if you will hit 900 fps with an 18 gr. pellet with just readjusting (ie no mods).... but that's just a WAG....

At its current tune (factory) its spitting out crow mags (18.21) at 823 fps,  skenko ultra mags with the brass point (18.2) at 809, Kodiacs (21.14) at 800.  The polymags at about 870.

I will soon find out. Marauder owners need a list of mods that are easily done, i can't find many. I don't really want to go into machining the gun but, would like 60 ft.lbs or more from a .25 cal. Bob, what do you think ?

It should be possible, but not without some machine work.... From what I can see, the exhaust port in the valve is the choke point in the MRods and PRods.... Since the velocity adjuster is in that location, you would likely have to forego using that if you hogged it out bigger....

My Hayabusa, and Lloyds .25 cal Disco (and also the Hatsan BT65s) are getting those kind of numbers.... but it requires about a 3/16" ID (or equivalent area) port all the way through (I think).... The good news is that you really don't need to go that high.... It seems everyone's favourite pellet is the 25.4 gr. JSB Exact in the mid 900s.... which works out to ~50 FPE.... Most high-powered .25s end up being detuned to those numbers anyway (my Hayabusa is), even the Condors.... It should be possible to get around 50 FPE with a .25 cal MRod and still have a reasonable shot count.... From what I understand, 45 FPE for 2 clips (16 shots) is pretty much the way they come....

BTW, my comments about 18 gr. @ 900 were directed at the .22 cal.... which is what I assumed the OP was asking since he said 18-24 gr. pellerts....

I'm surprised that some MRod owners haven't chimed in here with actual numbers with the gun set at maximum and filled to 3000 psi with 18 gr. pellets.... C'mon guys, let's hear watcha got with a stock gun (other than settings)!!!

I get an average of 880 fps with 18.1 JSB and my settings are not even maxed out. So I think 900 is doable, but why?

Very nice string, Richard.... good efficiency as well.... What were your settings?.... Max on everything?.... Any mods other than adjustments?....

No mods. If you remember, you've seen these numbers before, just a couple of months ago.  I left the spring tension and air flow at the maximum setting and moved the striker to 1.5 turns CW.

That's great!  Thank you!  That's what I wanted to know.  All I'm looking for is some additional effective hunting yardage, maybe a slightly flatter trajectory at 50+ yards.  Shot count isn't quite as important, since i don't take that many shots while hunting anyway.
