Chrap enough of a mod to do it just for cosmetics so as long as my groups don't open up, its all good!

Do you think thicker is better? I've seen 14, 15, and 16mm OD available with a 12mm ID. Now I just have to use some self control on the Buck Rail website and just order the Murphy mounts for a forward sling connection.

I think thicker is better. It's a great balance of looks and performance. It definitely does a good job of stiffening the barrel.
