The H&N Baracudas and JSB shoot well in most of my Sheridans. The H&N FTTs are a little less reliable, but it depends on the individual gun and number of pumps, etc.

   One thing to remember, you don't have to pump this rifle 8 x to enjoy it. I use 3 pumps for plinking & sighting in at 10 yards. Five pumps for small game & closer shots, 8 for maximum power & longer range. Since you already have 30WT NON detergent oil, just go with that. That is what they were made to use. KEEP it stored, unloaded, with a pump or 2 in it.

Im certainly not in the league with u folks….but just a FYI….my older C9 .20 (havent checked date) shoots exact Diablo 13 gr…well at 30 yards….good luck

I have a stable full of Sheridans & they all like JSB’s.

So far I haven't got to do any real shooting but I plinked cans for a few minutes and it shoots well. I can't wait to punch some paper.

I was using H& N domes at five pumps.

  Probably Field Target Trophy . More practice & you will do better. Also, I like JSB 13.73 better.

You are correct they are field target and trophy. I don't know if I am capable of any better with open sights. I am young but my eyes are already on the down hill slide.
I will scope a different gun for longer shots and better accuracy.

It might be considered sacreligous.……but u could consider a scout mount …good luck

Some beautiful Silver Streaks in this thread. So dang hard to find them in this kind of pristine condition!  Bucket List item for me, love the Silver Streak.  For now, I'll be content with my 392.
