Yes, I was aware of the reverse threads and I'm not mad at all, I was hoping for advice on how to get the stripped stock screw out... that screw stripped out way too easy, very shallow recess in the screw slot and a very small screw head.

I'm just going toi drill the screw head out and since it's reverse threaded the action of the drill in forward might also loosen the screw. If not I'll try to force a torx bit into the hole I drilled and give that a go.

But I think I'll wait until I get a new piston seal before I try to remove the stock. Any idea what size piston seal for the Falcon?

I posted this on the wrong thread but here is my 2 cents after the fact.

Back to the WFH. I guess the stripped screw is the little Phillips headed one witch is on the right of my WFH. Mine has a long straight slot as well.  You have a mess on your hands. Several options. 1st I would make sure it is a left handed thread.  I would get some type of penetrate that has capillary drilling action. Many out there. Spray it on and let it soak before doing anything. If it is left handed you could get a left hand drill bit and try to drill it. Some times the heat and the twist of the bit will bring it out. Then If it does not come out you will have to take and ez-out and try that. If you don't have that warm and fuzzy feeling doing this take it to a true gun smith. Screw is very small so none off what I have said may work. You could just drill out and order the replacement parts. Even if you get it out without damaging the insert you will have to find or order a matching thread replacement. Since you can't get it out you could stop your project till you have replacement parts. Just my 2 cents. GOOD LUCK!!!

If it is left handed you could get a left hand drill bit and try to drill it.

You should use a standard right-hand twist drill on left hand threads.... On right hand threads, you should use a left-hand twist drill.... That way the flutes of the drill bit if they catch will tend to unscrew the fastener....

  You are correct. Sorry for the mess informing. RIGHTY TIGHT, LEFTY LOOSE ON THE RIGHT HAND SCREW!!! SORRY!!! Had the right method just backwards. Boy I was alot of help on that one.
