Hey guys! What a warm welcome for such a terrible attitude I had. Thank you, I am impressed and apologetic. I honestly didn't think they would let that fly 
Since I already stuck my barrel in the mashed potatoes and showed off my posterior, maybe I could contribute something useful. It's probably been done b4, but here is what I've discovered (pun intended)

WITH UPGRADED VALVE SCREWS ONLY!!!
I pushed a 35 grain huben bullet to 1273fps with about 4300psi. Next 2 shots were 1226 & 1224.
 Had to fab a brass cocking handle that screwed into my hammer, which added more than enough weight to open the valve at that pressure, and allowed me to actually cock the beast spring (3\8 dia .063 thick)

I reload for myself and others, so I wanted to see if I could get 22lr ballistics with air and it worked.
Albeit 3 "usable" shots from a lil Benjamin Discovery air tank, they all passed clean through a dried landscape timber (3.5 in).
I also make selfbows and shoot competitively with them, but I just love me some free air!

I've trolled this forum for years (2007) and appreciate the massive database of knowledge you all have built.
I hope to contribute more as I design and build my own air rifles in the future.

  I just have to say Chris, this bickering doesn't typically occur here, or at least I haven't seen it. Everyone has their bad days and moods, so forgive and or overlook it and get on with the good stuff, hoping that when we have our bad moments others will do likewise.
