There is no need for a refund.
I am a happy Buck Rail customer.
The Buck Rail does work.  It reduces the decibels from 108.4 to 98.3 decibels.
I just don't understand why the Buck Rail suppressor is not a lot quieter than the Gauntlet's little stock suppressor.
I can't tell the difference with my ears, because it takes about 10 minutes to change the suppressors and then shoot.
If I had 2 Gantlets to shoot side by side, then my ears probably could tell the difference.
We tested 2 Crosman 2240 pistols side by side and that Buck Rail was a LOT quieter than no suppressor.
Thank you for your offer that was more than reasonable.

I tested my Buck Rail suppressor on my Gauntlet using the Decibel X app on my iphone at the shooter's ear.
This is the peak decibels averaged for several shots.

No suppressor = 108.4
Gauntlet stock suppressor = 96.9
Buck Rail suppressor = 98.3

I changed locations and tested again on another day.
Gauntlet stock suppressor = 97.5
Buck Rail suppressor = 99.0

These tests surprised me because the Buck Rail Suppressor should be better than the stock suppressor on the Gauntlet.
My Buck Rail suppressor looks good and is undamaged.
10 shot groups at 18 yards may be a little better with the Buck Rail suppressor.
Has Buck Rail done tests?
What do you think?

I tried several db apps…I preferred my ear….most if not all u folks have more experience with suppressors than me….I didnt by a B$R expecting a TKO….the tech just aint there …are there quieter suppressors sure but u cant beat B$R price…even if its a modest reduction in report…..I have a couple of $30 suppressors built similar to a TKO…I thought my QB guns were broken..lol..I still dont see how all I get is a pfft and pellet still goes thru a chili can a 30 yards….anxious to try a DonnyFL…I know none of this has anything to do with your ??..lol…good luck

1st thing I'm gonna do is trust an app. Yeah. Right.
I suppose NASA writes launch and trajectory on a freaking free app they downloaded.
 
Any time someone says "My App"? Well. Figure it out with another App.

And I notice you don't tell us what App you used. I can tear apps apart and see the coding on those and most are really whacked!

Sorry to necro this thread, my .25 Gauntlet is only 5 months old, cheap at the closeout prices.

I use a real sound level meter but they are just a number, to back up the old ears to check out low cost bark suppressors for backyard use. Stock, 4-3D cones, mini Buck-rail and one $200 KOI with adapter all fail with 108db +++. The 3D cones are back in and the rest sent back. As stated in a similar post, don't want $250 suppressor on a $220 dollar rifle..

Hill Airgun has one for $110. If this is as good as my TKO on my Disco, about 97db indicated, I'm golden. TKO does not make one for the .25.

You can just get TKO for .22 and open up all the holes?

The TKO is a barrel slip over; same as their Gauntlet 22 version from the description. If I remove my shroud, I lose my barrel band support which is stabilized by internal air stripper at end of barrel. The Hill will just screw directly onto the threaded shroud, no $50 adapter needed. I'll know Tuesday if this is worth if..and don't trust my hand drill, no drill press.
