Top 3 CO2 guns

Since I own PCPs, I forgot how fun it is to shoot CO2 guns. Until recently, when I shot one from a friend.

So it is time to build a small collection of CO2 guns, that basically don't really need some extra work shooting nice out of the box and are easy to maintain. It is for plinking only. CO2 guns are affordable, that's sweet.

What are the current top ones for a small collection ?

Some I am thinking of... Crosman 1077, Crosman 2240, Diana Chaser, the QB78. What else ?

I know you ask about the current ones but... if you can get your hands on a Crosman 150 and a Crosman 600 .... The are the most fun I've had with a CO2 pistol.

I agree with Brewbear !!! I've never had a 600 but would love to have one with left handed grips, a few years ago I lost out on a left handed one and have kicking myself in the but since. I seen it on ebay, pushed the button but I was too late.  I really do love all my Crosman 150's though, they're a fine pistol once you've got one.  Most of them need to be re sealed but it's well worth it with a good rebuild kit that has the aftermarket poppet included, there's no cutting corners in a rebuild though, you need to replace ALL of the seals and they'll last a life time.

This is my favorite pistol shooter it fits a 1911 holster perfect.

You can get the leftie grips from Austin Vernon, $60 - $70 he will make them specifically for your pistol model.

I got 2 1077..wood and syn….I like them but dont know if I would recommend as part of a limited collection….love all 3 of my QB78….2240 is a nice lego platform….would love to have mentioned guns…but no funds for those….pictured is a favorite…Vernon austin grips…TKO ,gravmag 9 shot mag…tactical folding grip and Bucl$rail foregrip…cp 2x20….good luck on your choices..

I have 2 1077's. The are a fun gun. When friends come by, we use them to plink and just have fun. They're accurate enough too hit coke cans at 20 yards. Pellets are $4 for a tin of 500. Yes, the triggers aren't the best, but we shoot them to have fun and some friendly competition.

I agree …really like my 415 with B$R LDC and Tac Boss aint bad… 415 is more accurate..

I will throw my hat in for the Crosman 150 also ! This is my Ted Williams 150 with Vern's grips, pure joy and nostalgia with this thing ! I blame Brew and Wayne !
Edit, I will also say that I have more fun shooting and tweaking these QB rifles. For this, I blame Jason and Rib.
My Ninja bottle was never 1400psi, I don't know why I added that to that image, it's 1100ish and pure fun !

There are a lot of fun full-auto BB guns you may want to look into. Check the Bargain Gate, there's a recent post. Hard to beat full auto for pure "fun" factor, and the good trigger of the AK1 makes it a pretty fun semi-auto plinker too.

My personal experiences are the 2240 and variants, the Mark II (another Crosman), and of course, the 600.  I've never owned/used a Crosman 150 despite trying numerous attempts to buy on eBay, otherwise that would be there too.
