Yeah, beats me.... I see that Hatsan list the 125 and 135 at the same power.... Any chance they downgraded the 135?.... Makes no sense that both lists (one from Russia) would get it wrong.... I dunno....

The Hatsan 135 has the biggest swept volume I have seen mentioned anywhere.... I have seen it listed at 85 cc and 87 cc.... The lower figure would be correct if the diameter is 30mm.... while the upper figure would be right if the diameter was 30.5mm.... Both sets of data had the dimensions rounded off to the nearest mm.... but above pete said the Patriot was 30.5mm ID.... so just maybe the 135 is, indeed, a long stroke Patriot....

Here are my average chrony numbers with fpe for 10 shot strings with my WFH before and then after I did lube tune and replaced piston seal with JM seal:

As you can see, the increase was minimal, but enough to make a change of at least one foot pound with each pellet, but the largest increase was seen in the heavy Barracuda pellet.

I also chronied the predator polymag (26 gr) and it was only slightly better than the Crow Mag at 712.34fps and 29.30245017fpe

Next is to shim the breech seal.

 

UPDATE: Did a self install of a "N-Forcer" Nitro Piston. Have not finished tinkering, but here are the initial chrony numbers for 3 shot string....without a break-in period:

Glad I did it! Next is to tear it back down and check my homemade top hat and spacing.  Will update when I get that done!

Well....my top hat didn't hang in there as expected. Made one out of 3/4 inch steel rod with 5/16 inch dia dimple to hold the rod centered. Put about another 1/8 inch preload....and slowed it down!
26 Gr Crow mags dropped from 758 to 710 fps
20 gr ftt dropped from 852 to 795
Back to the drawing board for the top hat...and preload.
ughhhhhhhhhh!

i have a uk patriot as well as a turkey patriot. the numbers seem to vibe with the uk. i think the turkey patriot is a completely different monster, literally, this thing has a bigger powerplant than anything i've seen
