What scale do you guys prefer?

Putting this here because it's in direct relation to casting; hope that's acceptable...
But, what scale do you guys prefer for weighing your cast pellets/slugs? Balance beam, or digital? Lots of different little digital ones, for pretty reasonable prices-balance beam scales tend to be more expensive...
Which do you folks prefer, and why?

I don't like fiddly little objects. Balance beams are too fiddly for me.

I have been very happy with using this one heavily for a good year now in the orange color.  It is quite stable at this price point and has a larger readable display.  The blue one is currently on sale, lol.

already had the Lee beam scale when got back into air rifles... did/do not see the need for getting another of any sort...

I bought a Waoaw digital a few years back because a lot of guys on the PB reloading forums were recommending it. It was cheap and it works great but I always verify it with my RCBS balance beam. I guess that means my answer is both.

I do PB reloading and I use this scale: Lyman Micro-Touch 1500 Electronic Scale 110V 7750700



I like the fact that it plugs in and can use batteries. I keep mine plugged in all the time.

Will check out the ones listed; just dropped some cash on another chrono (tried to order one before; but it got lost in shipping  ) while they're still cheap; figured I'd better get a scale while they're cheap too...

I do like my little digital, but I will never get rid of the RCBS beam scale because it doesn't need batteries or a power cord and I trust it completely. Not really as big of an issue with weighing pellets but on the PB side of things it's very important.

That I can definitely understand!!
110% confidence would be a must in that area of operations-though not in my future ATM, hence why I feel I could settle for something perhaps less reliable; but cheaper...

I've had the Gemini 20 for six years now, it works great for my needs, I weigh pellets/slugs with it after every casting session for a reasonable acceptable culling solution.

Count me in for the balance beam crowd.  Thought about upgrading to digital but with the frequency I weigh stuff (only a few times a year), I couldn't justify the investment to add a digital scale to my set of tools.  If you're using it daily and weighing stuff of different weights and need speed, go digital, I suppose.

Thanks Wayne and Turby; after one for when I get started on casting-digital has a draw for it's speed; as usually I don't have nearly so much time as I would like for such things
