Sears 19331 BB Repeater, Pellet Gun Help

Hi Guys,

This was my Dad's and it doesn't pump up so I took it apart and need help getting it to work.  Also, these 2 little springy things fell out when I took it apart and don't know where they go.

  The part on left and spring releases bbs from the large reservoir to the smaller one. Pull back, with thumb, to release 15 or so. The other part fits in a hole in the receiver at the bb and pellet port

Do a search on youtube for resealing an old crosman 760.  Yours is an older (pre-'75) model, so look at the videos for the oldest model you can find.  You will probably need seals for it.  I don't know who carries them.

You'll find both the manual and parts list on the Crosman website.  The parts list will show you where those springs go.

They're a pita to hold in place on the top rear of the receiver halves. I have some videos on YouTube about restoring a variant one 760 Powermaster that should help. Look for unionrdr videos.

A good dab of wheel bearing/axle grease on the bb selector/release tab will hold it in place while putting the receiver back together, makes it a lot easier.

What size punch do I need to remove the roll pins?

I think it was 5/32? I bought a set of roll pin punches at Home Depot for about 14 bucks a few years ago.

You're gonna need to order a seal kit for it.
The kit from Mac1airguns is the best.

You just have to whack it with a hammer until it starts to move.  Then use the punch to drive it the rest of the way through.  Assuming it's the one you're talking about in this photo.  I use a motorcycle chain-breaker because it works well.

Lay it on something solid with a hole in it for the pin to go through and hit it.  (I used to use a 2x4 with a hole drilled in it and a framing hammer.)  It will go.  Post more pics, too.

And don't forget to replace the pump cup.

Here's an end view of the roll pin punches. They're shaped to fit the rolled steel pins. Hence the name. I use Rem-Oil on the pins before I use the punch and tack hammer to drive them out...
