This Dynosaur is my creation. It shoots a 1000 grain bullet at, and little over 800 ft/sec.
It is capable of doing much more, only with this setting it stays in one piece for 1000 shots.
I have one shot per fill and the filling pressure is 240 bar. After one shot the pressure is 190 bar.
Because the neck of the bottle is to small I was forced to make the valve outside the bottle.
The rest is simple. 85 cm barrel from Lothar Walther and big holes....
The striker is almost 1 Kg and the spring inside makes the magnum springers jealous....
Next time I have it appart I'll will make some pictures.

Jeez, when he was getting a bullet out of the plastic bucket, it looked to be at least .50 cal and over 1-1/2" long.  A 1000 gn .50cal is over 1-3/4" long, but its hard to tell.  Serious knock-down power...... and fun for the sake of fun!

I ran the numbers in the spreadsheet.... Looks like it's possible with a .58 cal 1000 gr. in a 33" (85cm) barrel to get ~800 fps without using a dump shot (but nearly, the valve closes at 30" travel).... Muzzle pressure was 2500 psi, so it would be LOUD.... (L5=0.73 for Lloyd).... I used 500cc tank, 3500 psi (240 bar) fill, 725 psi (50 bar) used for the shot....

That would be TWICE as powerful as the 600fpe w-500grainers AirForce I shot a few years ago.  At the time (actually, up until now), it was the most powerful AirForce rifle known to exist.

A big mah-moo spring to drive the hammer to hit the valve to release the HPA. That gun has a BIG valve head to dump mega air.

aznboi.....you cock the hammer.  When you pull the bolt handle back on a PCP you lock the striking hammer behind the trigger sear.  The hammer is a metal weight that basically hits a valve stem to open it to fire the gun.

Same principle as in a springer, or powderburner.  When you cock them, you are basically locking back a striker of some sort to fire the gun when you pull the trigger.
