TX200 Cocking Pivot Pin

This part in one of my MK1s wants to “walk” from it’s centered position after an extended shooting session. This old gun has been fired a million times but the holes don’t appear to be out of round and the pin requires a light hanger tap to reposition. What would be the best way to solve this problem?

My TX200 had the same issue. I solved this by putting a small drop of Locktite (blue) on the end of the cocking pin after I tapped the pin into place. Make sure the the pin and pin holes are clean, so the Locktite will stick.

I have shot my TX200 more than 20,000 times, and the cocking pin has stayed in place.

I approached this from another direction. I got hole of some longer pins (I think they were 5mm diameter), and cut them to a length at which they are just shy of making contact with the stock, so they cannot move.
