Scottish Terriers were originally bred to hunt and fight Eurasian badgers. Therefore, the Scottie is prone to dig as well as chase small mammals, such as squirrels, rats, and FROGS. Keeping cats, rabbits, ferrets, and other small Domesticated animals in the home with a Scottish terrier is not advisable due to the fact that this dog breed was specifically bred to hunt small mammals and FROGS, as mentioned above. The owner needs to carry an Alchemy SUPER UPGRADED Crosman 362 RIFLE to protect the Scottie from wild animals ( oh and I forgot Rat Snakes ).

My Great Dane is scared to death of snakes, so I need aa air rifle of which a super upgraded 362 would fill the bill nicely but, a lot cheaper version would do fine too. Frogs are rare around here but we do get toads showing up from time to time.

Not a snakeoligist but I don't think snakes 'hear' the frogs.

Herpetologist is the word you're looking for. As for their hearing, its possible they can hear the frogs better than you can.

Snakes lack external ears (pinna), ear canals (external auditory meatus) or external ear drums (tympanic membrane) as is seen in most other reptiles, but they have well-developed internal ears and can hear sounds from 40 to 2,000 hertz; the human voice averages 500 to 1,000 hertz, and thus, is within the range of hearing of a snake.

This thread is a work in progress. Seems fairly popular too from the number of views it has as well as the number of replies in it. Including several replies of your own.At present, I am waiting on my .177 Disco SE barrel. As are quite a few other people.

If I like how my 362 does with that barrel; and I likely will, then my next mod will be the flow through valve sold by Alchemy which is good for boosting the fps by 60 fps.

This is not the only thread concerning steroided 362's at this Gate. There are at least 2 others. Should those threads go to the Back Room too?

We live in a very soggy back woods area of lower Alabama. The critters at night are dang near deafening. Especially after a rain. It's the perfect scenario to put a flash light on a SUPER UPGRADED Crosman 362 RIFLE and go frog hunting.

It's been raining here pretty good. Weather.com hyped it as a killer storm and since it isn't over, it could just be...We've had just over an inch in the past hour and a half. Frogs aren't singing. I don't expect them to for awhile yet.

Nope. Although, if you hadn't posted with your outstanding results of what a 362 with the .177 24" barrel can do, the thread may well have croaked.

I've gotta get me some of those Jsb .177 13.43 gr pellets...10 tins should do for a start.

Anyway I'm hoping it will exceed 800fps. (with lead pellets of course)

I agree. Crosman missed a sure bet by not doing that.
I believe.177 362's already exceed 800 fps with lighter pellets.
My Winchester 1977XS has similar fps.

Remember those youtube vids from 15 or so years ago? There was a guy using a Crosman Quest promoting 7.9 cphp and 7.4 superpoints. His was good for 850 fps with those pellets.

Point is, yeah, these steroided .177 362's are in spring piston power territory.

Our proven and trusted PUMP RP valve for the 13xx pump pistols has been a huge success these past years. Feedback has always been overwhelmingly very positive.

The new Crosman 362 pump rifle has some special needs for EXTRA POWER that this combo completely takes into account.

FIRST: The valve has been angle ported on the exhaust transfer end of the valve... and has an increase in valve body displacement as well. It is exactly like our tried and true pump RP valve in every important way.
What is this designed to do?  It flows better from the valve.  It also allows you to pump more of BOTH volume and pressure into the valve.  Both of these incrementally improve your fps.
 
SECOND: To get all that higher volume and pressure from the valve to the barrel, you simply MUST increase the inside diameter of the transfer port, so our tried and true +25% power transfer port is a necessary part of this ultimate 362 performance combo.

The hammer spring that Crosman provides in the stock 362 is longer and stronger and has a tip extension on it already, so it DOES NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED! IT IS EXACTLY WHAT IS NEEDED!

That stock hammer spring does such a great job of providing lots of strike force and additional spring energy that it actually causes a couple of problems that we will both explain and correct with this complete combo.

THIRD: The stock steel hammer pin already wobbles a bit in a stock hammer. It does now and always has. But this 362 stock power spring really gives it *(&^! So much so that you can expect the wobble to worsen and with enough use you can expect it to fail... AS IN BREAK! This has already happened out in the world to a shooting club that all had these 362's and love shooting them... until they couldn't because of the weak stock hammer pins. Nothing at all wrong with the stock hammer. By all means, you should keep it.

But the stock hammer pin has got to go. THE FIX has always been with us: Our hardened stainless hammer pin for 13xx size hammers. This kit includes one of those as well! NO WOBBLE. HARD AS HECK. WILL NOT BREAK! STILL ATTRACT TO A MAGNET YOU MAY HAVE IN ONE OF OUR CUSTOM EXTENDED PROBES. SOLVED!!!

This Custom Combo kit is freshly new (not old stock) and has never been used or installed. 
Others advertise a special 362 valve only as an upgrade and that 10 pumps are ideal for it (implying that the 362 will dump 10 pumps with one shot and none remaining in the valve).

THE DIFFERENCE: IF YOU FOLLOW OUR LEAD / FORMULA / RECIPE, THEN YOU WILL HAVE TWELVE (12) PUMPS DUMPING ABILITY!

I had the thought he was having TP problems again, getting low fps.
