He says why he prefers the Lazy Mans chrony in the above link.I believe it used to be called the 'poor mans chrony' ... now its called 'Lazy Man's Chrony'. (Whatever.)I am not you. Sure, I could get that $28 Asian chrony that everyone else seems to be getting and one day, I might just do that.Maybe....if I decide that I need it. At present its not worth the price of the 2 tins of decent pellets that it costs. To me the pellets are the better investment.Jacob - if you got a chronograph, you could make tables of data to compare.See example of data I have collected on my 392 valve mod.

Speaking of the can test though; that brings up something ... the answer of which I have no idea off the top of my head. When I speak of the can test; I am pf course speaking of using a C362 and/or a Benji 392 (preferably woodstocked) at 4 pumps giving approximately 500-515 fps with a .22 14.3 gr ...and/or any equivalent such as the AV Mk1 or Mk2 at 4-5 pumps. Here's the thing; while I am interested in the .22 Disco SE barrel I ordered, my main interest is in the .177 Disco SE barrel I ordered. I have no idea of the minimum velocity / # of pumps necessary for a H&N 10.65 or a 10.5 Cpum to completely penetrate the can.Guess I'll go through a few cans of green beans before I determine what it is.
Old license plates can be useful too, I only have 1 gun that can punch a hole through one with standard pellets. (1300kt with an 18 inch barrel pumped 28 times )

Expired canned goods are some of my favorite reactive targets!Imagine a 25.4gr JSB King moving at aproximately 730 fps striking an expired can of Campbell’s cream of chicken soup (the kind with the convenient pull top can). The can cartwheels end over end in a spray of yellow ichor the convenient pop top blasted off in a geyser of expired soup!
Sometimes you get lucky with Crosman barrels.I have a 24" .177 that is very precise with 10g JSBs.38 yards or was it meters?
In the meantime though; I can well believe my 362 is now getting approximately 700 fps with 8 pumps.
