Oh I get it, some have the need for speed. I do too in certain cases. Just not at the cost of the equipment.
Same here...... 3 to 4 pumps at 500 FPS is the sweet spot for me. Doing 4 in .22 reached that so in .177 should be able to do it in 3? It's nice knowing the gun is capable of much more, and it's great having that, but truth is that I've never needed more than 5 or 6 with either of my modded 13xx guns.

It may be best to stay below 6 pumps for durability. I see some issues. Nothing that can’t be addressed. My 20 fpe 362 will be much more durable than one never pumped over four. The pump lever used in the 362 is a modified 392.

I don't think the 1322/1377 linkage and tube are the same as the 362. Matter of fact.. I don't think you can even get parts for the 362 yet.
Wonder how many they would have got with 10, 12, and 15 pumps per shot?
LOL.... that proves that you're good to go at the recommended max strokes of the gun.Again, you paid for it... have at it.Since my opening statement I've only expressed my intentions.

I was going to ask you if you had tested either one of your .177 barrels before cutting and crowning them. That would be some useful info and perhaps, even the subject for a future thread if you chose to create it.
Some side by side numbers with 18" vs. 24" in .177https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=195418.msg156272850#msg156272850
