The .22 passes through 20 +/- layers. Unbelievable penetration!"I too use Grimes 'poor mans chrony' for my testing. Pity he didn't say specifically how many layers of cardboard were penetrated...'20 +/- layers' is a little imprecise for my taste.Anyway, the .177 evidently exceeds the penetration of the .22. But, by how much? 20% 25%?Be nice to nail that down.
My chroniy test is will the pellet (.177/22) go thru a chili can @ 25 yards…LOL…I’m good………..good luck

Yes it's clearly modeled after the stock for the FN Minimi,AKA M249 " S.A.W " in American service.
I saw the three versions he had listed on his site. The thing I noticed is that he uses the plastic breach or the short steel breach on them? Some are probably ok with this but for the price point... the long steel breach would have made this more attractive. The higher FPS can be achieved much cheaper if that is what one is looking for. The "AR" style stock on this gun while using the original pump handle just doesn't appeal to me, but that is just me.

Grimes uses the OEM stock for the .177 version; but again as you noticed, he uses the plastic breech instead of the steel breech.Grimes is pretty easy to talk to on the phone or in emails. Might not be a bad idea to see how much he'd take for a stock 362 to be modded with the same parts he's using for his steroided version.
I just pre-ordered the .177 Disco SE barrel and another slip on 1/2-20 adapter. I wasn't able to get the fellow Phil recommended on the phone; but, while the lady I talked to said it might be as long as 2 weeks before the barrel is shipped to me that it will be worth the wait. Apparently, there is an increase in demand for those barrels. In the meantime, I'll be testing the .22 Disco SE barrel.
I don’t see any chrony numbers. I wouldn’t call it a “Steroid “ on cardboard layers. It would need to improve to 18 fpe.
