Well it was stock for a lil bit. I installed the steel breech on 1476 today. Along with a Williams peep and the fiber optic front.
Took it apart, drilled the handle out of the stock probe, added my new steel breach, shortened the rear breech screw too much (must do it again), and then realized I couldn’t find my 8-32 tap for the bolt handle hole in the probe…ugh! Also took the bottom end apart enough to expose the trigger guts, polished and lined the contact areas, and made the TKO experimental trigger fit and function. There’s a new 8-32 tap in my pocket and another hour of work (job work, not airgun work. That should only take 15 min or so) between me and my 362!
Concerning the 'booger'....We are already experiencing the 'wobble' in the cocking pin in the hammer.IMO, the 'booger' just adds unneeded stress on that situation. The gun dumps the recommended 8 pumps just fine without it and makes cocking the gun easier.

I haven't done it yet but I will next time I have the guns apart.I understand they are peening the short end of the pin to make it fit tighter in the hammer.
